FAQ

Q1: What is the working temperature range? Can it be used in a high-temperature cabinet?

Operating temperature: 25℃~+70℃. The internal temperature of the cabinet must not exceed 70℃. Excessive temperature will cause a decrease in sampling accuracy.

Q2: Are the channels isolated from each other?

There is no isolation between channels. Only the signal side of the field and the logic side of the PLC board have 1500VAC isolation. Multiple channels share a common COM terminal.

Q3: Do the modules require hardware setting jumpers?

IC693ALG220 has no hardware jumpers. Voltage and current modes are completely achieved through external wiring and external resistors. The module body has no dip switch.

Q4: How are the shielding layers of multiple transmitters handled? Should they be grounded at both ends or just at one end?

For analog signal shielded cables, it is recommended to ground at one end. The shielding layer should only be grounded at the transmitter side, and the shielding layer at the module side should be left floating. Grounding at both ends easily forms a ground loop, causing drift and fluctuation of the values.
