Wiring Guide – 32 Input Points, 4 Common Groups
The 1746-IV32 uses a removable terminal block (RTB). The 32 input points are divided into 4 groups of 8 points each. Each group has its own common (COM) terminal.
Terminal assignment:
Terminals 0-7: Inputs 0-7. Common: COM A.
Terminals 8-15: Inputs 8-15. Common: COM B.
Terminals 16-23: Inputs 16-23. Common: COM C.
Terminals 24-31: Inputs 24-31. Common: COM D.
Wiring rules:
Use 24V DC power supply. Do not connect AC power to inputs.
Connect the positive side of each sensor/switch to the input terminal.
